Speedy Speech, Gaming, Racing and Communication Fun!

We know kids love Mario, and this hands-on group combines the Mario Kart game with fun track-building and racing scenarios to help your child connect and grow their communication skills.

During the session, your child will be encouraged to join with a small group of peers in collaborating and building a Mario Kart track, as well as problem solving and enjoying the Mario Kart game.

Through special activities, your child can continue to work on their individualised speech and language goals in a fun group setting.

This program is NDIS approved and will help your child practice the following skills:

  • Vocabulary skills
  • Sentence construction
  • Expressive language skills
  • Receptive language skills
  • Sequencing and following multistep instructions
  • Problem solving skills
  • Self advocacy skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Fine motor skills and motor planning

Mario’s Speech Speedway is suitable for school-aged children, and offers fun, gaming and creative experiences that are sure to delight and surprise.

Children in attendance are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and can bring a snack and their own water bottle.

Please note all group programs align with our COVID-19 Safety Plan and ensure the health and wellbeing of all attendees and staff members.

This group will be limited to a maximum of four (4) children and one staff member. All attendees are required to follow our safety measures.

The sessions will be held at our Newcastle Centre:
301 Brunker Road, Adamstown NSW 2300

Cost Range: $160 – $180 per client, per session

Based on NDIS guidelines and our service model, this range reflects factors such as group size (up to four clients per clinician), the inclusion of indirect time (planning and progress notes), and any applicable venue or entrance fees. Each group’s exact fee will be calculated according to the number of clients, clinicians, and the session’s duration.

This program is NDIS approved.
