We are seeking an experienced and motivated speech pathologist to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and confident individual who can work independently and is passionate about working with children and families.

This role would suit someone looking for flexible hours and the position maybe offered as part time or full-time (depending on the candidates’ preference).

Selection Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (CPSP status desirable)
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience working with children and families including children with complex communication needs, including autism, dyslexia and other developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently within different service delivery models and across different locations.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice (with a thirst for learning, growth and diversity).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently problem-solve and set priorities in complex situations.
  • Evidence of ability to work in a team and build and maintain co-operative professional and therapeutic relationships.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
  • Cleared Police Check within the last twelve months.
  • Current Working with Children’s check (WWCC).
  • A current driver’s licence and use of own vehicle.

The successful speech pathologist will have access to regular clinical supervision, peer mentoring, in house ongoing education and a generous professional development budget for external workshops and seminars. This is a permanent position, with remuneration above the Health Professionals and Support Services 2010 award.
