Growing Careers with Care
Words From Our Team Members
Join our Team and Grow Your Career with Care and Support

A Growing Understanding is a place for everyone to grow and flourish – from the children and families we work with, to our purple family of hand-picked professionals who genuinely love what they do.

Our aim is to ensure that everyone who walks through our door can access the support and encouragement they need to grow their best life.

We are committed to providing opportunities for parents and our team to develop their skills, and discover new ways of supporting children with a variety of communication and feeding difficulties.

I like to compare our approach to service and team development to that of nurturing a tree. Every type of tree is different and how much they grow depends on the amount and type of nurturing they receive. Our role is not to grow a small tree to larger than what it should be or into a different type of tree. Our role is to help it grow into the best version of itself.” – Lauren Haskins, Practice Director
