Tasting, Touching, and Talking About Food!
If your toddler or pre-schooler is fussy with food, these interactive groups will encourage them to explore new and familiar foods in a fun and positive way.
Through language, and special activities that involve ‘food-play’ and the introduction of new foods and textures, your child will have an opportunity to see, touch, smell and taste food and continue to work on their individualised food therapy goals in a fun group setting.
This program is NDIS approved and with the support of experienced speech pathologists, will help your child develop the following skills:
- Vocabulary around food
- Positive experiences with food
- Positive behaviours associated with mealtime
- Understanding of different temperatures and textures of food
- Understanding of healthy food and how it helps the body
