Arty fun to help Neurodivergent tweens develop communication skills.
ARTiculate is a special interactive, hands on group for Neurodivergent tweens who are interested in art making and connecting with like-minded peers.
Your tween will have the opportunity to independently explore various art mediums and their communication skills in a supported environment, with two Neurodivergent therapists.
This program is NDIS approved and will help your tween:
- With self-advocacy and self-determination
- Connect with other neurodivergent tweens with similar interests
- Build their vocabulary, sentence structure and reflection skills related to their art making, while remaining true to their way of communicating (i.e. all communication methods are valid!)
- Identify their own strengths and challenges, build awareness of their own body signals (interoception) and make mistakes in a safe, fun and inclusive environment
- Learn about the process of art making while increasing emotional regulation skills, expressing difficult feelings and communication skills
