Meet Our Speech Pathologist Zoe McCauley

Zoe grew up in Newcastle and graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours).

Since graduating, Zoe has worked in private practices supporting clients along their Speech Pathology journey.

Zoe enjoys providing speech pathology services to preschool and school-aged children, and loves helping families and professionals discover the benefits of Key Word Sign.

I first heard about Speech Pathology when I was in kindergarten, because my younger brother saw a Speech Pathologist! I loved the idea of helping children with their communication goals after seeing the positive impact it had on my brother and my family. I wanted to help other children and their families to achieve their goals too.

I love the welcoming workplace environment and the whole team! I enjoy having daily opportunities to touch base with my team to share resources, ideas, and support.

At the moment, it’s making (and eating) Caramilk chocolate spiders.

My favourite game is “It takes two”. It is a 2-player computer game that encourages teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. It was challenging, fun, and had a lovely story with beautiful visuals.

The Harry Potter books, especially the audiobooks narrated by Stephen Fry.

Coraline. I love the look of stop-motion animated movies!

New Zealand

“Good things take time”.

As a teenager, I played competitive ten pin bowling and represented New South Wales at a National Event in Melbourne! As a result, I have 4 bowling balls stored in my garage.
