Meet Our Speech Pathologist Paige Horton
Paige was born and raised in Newcastle and Graduated from The University of Newcastle with a Bachelor in Speech Pathology (Honours).
Paige loves working with all children with a variety of communication difficulties, but has a particular interest in speech sound disorders and preschool aged stuttering.
With a passion for helping children and families reach their communication goals; Paige strives to have a positive impact on families lives and see their children’s communication flourish. She enjoys working collaboratively with other health professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Psychologist, Physiotherapists, to name a few, and to provide the families with the best holistic care.
Paige loves building a strong rapport with children and families and believes in making therapy fun, comfortable and enjoyable.
I love that I am able to help children achieve their communication goals and that I am a part of their journey! Seeing their progress and how the children’s confidence grows, is so rewarding.
I love how warm and caring the team is at A Growing Understanding. No matter the size of an achievement, it is all celebrated at A Growing Understanding!
