About Melissa Roberts
Melissa has a unique combination of skills, holding both a Bachelor of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Teaching / Bachelor of Arts.
She began her career as a Special Education Teacher, before progressing to a Language Support Teacher, teaching students with specific speech and language difficulties. It was this position that sparked Melissa’s interest and passion for speech pathology.
She loves working with families to help them develop essential skills and ensures children can thrive and feel confident in many contexts.
I always say that when you help a child, you help a whole family. Speech pathology provides so many ways to do this, not just through developing talking but also through developing confidence, literacy, social connections and understanding our world. It is such a rewarding profession to be a part of.
Our supportive team – we are so much more than colleagues, we are great friends! Also our consistency in striving for a high quality service for families.
