Meet our Speech Pathology Assistant Logan Williams

Logan Williams

Logan Williams is a Speech Pathology Student with a strong interest in supporting children to build the communication skills they need for learning, connection, and everyday life.

Drawn to speech pathology through his interest in working with children, Logan values the important role early support can play in a child’s development. He is particularly interested in child language development, speech sound disorders, and early intervention, and is motivated by the positive, long-term impact speech pathology can have across home, school, and social settings.

Logan takes a child-centred and engaging approach, focusing on building positive relationships and creating supportive environments where children feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to communicate. He enjoys making sessions fun and meaningful while learning from experienced clinicians and continuing to develop his knowledge and practical skills.

As part of the A Growing Understanding team, Logan is committed to supporting children and families with warmth, curiosity, and care as he continues his journey toward becoming a speech pathologist.

I love Speech Pathology because it allows me to support and help children by creating positive experiences for them and their families.

What I love most about A Growing Understanding is the strong sense of support and kindness within the team, which creates a warm and welcoming workplace.

“I said he was probably going to score 70 tonight. I don’t know what made me say that. My friends was with me and they was like, okay, so when he got to like 70, I was like he might as well go for 80 now.” – LeBron James
