Linda Baker
Meet Our Speech Pathologist Linda Baker
Linda is a born and bred Novocastrian and continues to be active in the Newcastle community. Linda has worked as a speech pathologist and clinical educator in the Hunter Region for almost 20 years, and has established herself as an experienced and skilled therapist.
As a mum to three beautiful children as well as a menagerie of animals; Linda understands what it means to be a busy parent who wants the best for their family.
Linda personally and professionally understands the importance of working with various professionals to support children with a range of needs. She works tirelessly to support families as an experienced speech pathologist, but also through her own passion project which is an online support platform called ADHD Done Differently.
As the Learning and Development Lead with A Growing Understanding, Linda supports the professional development goals of speech pathologists and provides supervision to ensure the ongoing delivery of evidence-based and quality services.
I love being a Speech Pathologist because I love being an active part of the child’s “team” and seeing them reach their goals! I also love making therapy unique to each individual child and getting to know the families.
It is an honour to work with a team who genuinely cares for the children and families we see. The team is inclusive and fun!
