Elizabeth Walker

Elizabeth Walker is a Speech Pathology Assistant who is passionate about supporting children to develop their communication skills in a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment.

With a long-standing passion for working with children and helping others, Elizabeth enjoys being part of each child’s communication journey and supporting families as they work towards their goals. She believes that building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families is the foundation of meaningful progress and strives to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to participate.

Elizabeth enjoys incorporating play-based approaches into therapy, using each child’s individual interests to make sessions motivating, engaging, and purposeful. She understands that every child learns differently and works closely with the supervising speech pathologist to deliver therapy that is tailored to each child’s needs and goals.

As part of the A Growing Understanding team, Elizabeth is committed to making therapy a positive experience for children and their families, supporting the development of communication skills while helping every child grow in confidence and connection.
