Meet Our Speech Pathologist Allira Wilson
Newcastle has always been home for Allira, and she loves going to the beautiful beaches, and trying out all the wonderful cafes and restaurants.
As a Speech Pathologist, Allira enjoys working with all children, and has a particular interest in supporting preschool-aged children with stuttering, speech sound and foundational language skills, and transitioning into school.
She believes a collaborative approach to care is important and enjoys working with other professionals to support a child’s growth and development.
Allira takes time to build a rapport and strong relationship with the children and families she works. She enjoys implementing a creative and fun approach to speech pathology, whilst providing the highest quality intervention.
I love that Speech Pathology allows me to help children to effectively communicate with those around them. I find it so rewarding to be able to share my knowledge, and provide a service that can positively impact the lives of children and their families.
A Growing Understanding provides a safe, and friendly environment for staff and clients to walk into each day. I feel so lucky to work within such a supportive and caring team.
