About Sarah Moran
Sarah is a passionate speech pathologist who grew up and studied in Newcastle. Following the completion of her Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours), she moved to Armidale for her first position with NSW Health. Sarah continued working with NSW Health in a variety of positions before coming to rest, closer to home, at A Growing Understanding.
Sarah has experience working with a broad range of families in schools, preschools, and outreach clinics. She is passionate about working with families to develop and reach goals, and support children to reach their full potential.
I love having the opportunity to build parents’ skills to support their children’s communication and feeding goals. As speech pathologists, we have a great opportunity to work with a wide range of professionals and families to achieve goals and build confidence and autonomy.
The work environment is so supportive with a strong focus on collaborative learning and professional development. I feel truly valued as an individual and supported within the team.
