About Emma Ballardie
Since graduating from the University of Newcastle, Emma has worked in both the public health sector and private practices. Her experience has seen her provide speech pathology services to children and adults in a variety of contexts.
With two young children of her own, Emma is passionate about supporting families in their development journeys. She enjoys working with children and helping them achieve their communication goals.
I love the opportunity speech pathology provides to help fantastic kids and their families, and to have fun while doing it!
I get to work with the most caring and committed team of individuals. It is a pleasure to work with such a dedicated and supportive team.
Too many to choose just one, but I loved Stieg Larsson’s Millenium Trilogy, and Anna Karenina has always been one of my favourites.
Again, hard to choose, but Love Actually is on the list.
‘Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.
I started an Electrical Engineering degree before switching to Speech Pathology.
Emma's areas of interest:
Paediatric Speech Sound and Language Assessments and Intervention, Early Literacy Skills and Developmental Delays.
