A Growing Understanding Speech Pathology has once again been recognised for our professional service and individualised approach at the 2019 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards.
We were thrilled to stand alongside other esteemed businesses as a winner at the recent Awards Ceremony, held at Belmont 16s, and are proud that our commitment to professional development and capacity to deliver high quality speech therapy services for families located in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens continues to speak volumes.
A Growing Understanding has been built on a strong root system of professional support, development and encouragement. From this solid foundation, we can help children with communication and language difficulties grow and achieve outstanding outcomes.
Jess Kiely, one of our exceptional team members, was awarded Outstanding Young Employee of the year at this year’s event. Her dedicated approach to delivering individualised speech therapy that not only engages the client, but also supports the family unit, is just one of the many reasons why Jess is such an asset to our business.
Jess came to us fresh out of university, with an innate passion for helping children and their families reach their communication goals. In a short time, Jess has grown into a dedicated speech pathologist, with a solid understanding of our industry and business. Her commitment, compassion and dedication to learning make her truly deserving of this award.
The team at A Growing Understanding believe that parent involvement is essential when it comes to achieving the best results.
By combining what we call the ‘Three E’s of Family Growth – Engagement, Encouragement, Empowerment, our talented team can deliver an efficient and effective service that ensures parents have the skills and confidence to support their child across a variety of contexts, including the delivery of therapy at home.
We are committed to helping our clients reach their communication and confidence goals, and are lucky enough to feel like winners every day when we see the children we work with gain confidence in their abilities and skills.
